Glen CARSON, 53, Is Found Dead

Glen "Kit" CARSON, well known Fairfield resident, was found dead this morning at his home, 300 S. Main street, where he had lived alone for several years.

Jack Raymond, county coroner, said his death was from natural causes and no inquest would be held.

Friends and relatives became concerned about him this morning when they realized they hadn't seen or heard from him since Tuesday. His sister, Mrs. Thomas ALLEN, 51 North D street, went to her brother's home and found his body in the bathroom. The body was found about 9:15 a.m.

Glen CARSON, 53, was born Nov. 21, 1904, on a farm about one mile south of Birmingham. He was the son of the late W. L. and S. Agnes GOULD CARSON. The family moved to Fairfield in 1918 and Glen had been a resident of this community since.

He was a sign painter by trade, was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Knights of Pythias lodge, and was a veteran of World War II.

The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home where last rites are pending.
