Mrs. Nora CARR, 80, long-time Fairfield resident, died at 12:05 p.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home where she recently entered as a patient. Her home was at 203 South D.
The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Front Page, Column 4Thieves Ransack CARR Residence
Thieves broke into the Nora CARR residence at 203 South D sometime last night or early this morning and ransacked the premises.
Mrs. CARR passed away Wednesday at the Fairfield Convalescent Home and her funeral will be Saturday morning.
Neighbors this morning notice a glass out of a door and notified police. They entered the home and found it ransacked. Late this morning it had not been determined if anything had been taken.
The door through which the thieves entered is located at the northwest corner of the home. Police said the thieves left the property by the same door.
Drawers were pulled out, and clothes scattered about in most all rooms in the home, including the attic.

Last rites will be Saturday for Mrs. Nora D. CARR, Fairfield resident who died Wednesday at the Fairfield Convalescent Home.
The services will be at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Williams in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. CARR passed away at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday after she had been in failing health the past two years. She was seriously ill the past week.
Nora D. CARR was born April 5, 1886, at Packwood; the daughter of Robert and Mary CLINE KENYON. She was reared and educated at Packwood and was married Jan. 10, 1906, to John CARR. The wedding took place at Fairfield.
She was a member of the Methodist church and the Rebekah Lodge No. 96. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1935. She was also preceded in death by a brother.
Mrs. CARR is survived by a sister, Mrs. W. H. MILLS, Packwood; two brothers, Lewis E. KENYON and Roy E. KENYON, also of Packwood; and three nieces, Mrs. Warren CONGER and Mrs. Charles NELSON, both of Packwood, and Mrs. Zerle MYERS, Fairfield.

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate Of Nora D. CARR, Deceased.
To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Nora D. CARR, Deceased:
You are hereby notified that on the 2nd day of August, 1966, the last will and testament of Nora D. CARR deceased bearing date of the 28th day of January, 1965, and Codicil dated April 15, 1966 was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Lewis KENYON was appointed executor of said estate.
Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of his notice, or thereafter be forever barred.
Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
