M. CARLSON dies at 80

Services are pending for Mary Irene CARLSON, 80, a resident at Logan Apartments.

She died at 7:51 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been admitted a short time before. She had been a resident of Fairfield for 28 years.

The body is at the Raymond Funeral home where preparations are being made for services.

Mary Irene CARLSON was born June 7 (sic - 11), 1900, in Jefferson County, the daughter of James B. and Emaline BLOOMFIELD GAILEY (sic - BAILEY).

She was married to Oliver L. CARLSON July 31, 1918, in St. Louis. He died May 15, 1964.

Survivors include two sons, James F. CARLSON, St. Louis, Mo., and Richard A. CARLSON, Davenport; and five grandchildren.

Rites for Mrs. CARLSON

The funeral service for Mary Irene CARLSON will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. George Koch officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. CARLSON was born June 11, 1900 in Jefferson County. She is survived by two sons, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
