Funeral services for Harold L Hidy, 75, of Brookings will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Brookings Chapel. Interment will be in Windsor, Colo., Monday April 28.
Mr. Hidy died Tuesday, April 22, in Crescent City, CA. He was born Feb, 8, 1905 in Iowa. He married Florence Phelps, Feb 28, 1928. He was a retired plumber.
He is survived by his wife of Brookings; a son, James and two daughters, Verna Atkinson and Margaret Peterson; a brother, John of Santa Maria, Calif.; three nephews, James Mercer and Don and James Phelps; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
