Clifford Thomas CARCIA

Clifford Thomas CARCIA, 43, 304 W. Polk Ave., died at 12:26 p.m. Friday, March 3, 1995, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James P. CARCIA III officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to UI Hospitals and Clinics Cancer Research Unit.

CARCIA was born July 13, 1951, in Pittsburgh, the son of James Paul and Jean FARRIS CARCIA Jr. He graduated from Taylor Allerdice High school in Pittsburgh in 1969, attended Parsons College for three years and graduated from the University of Dubuque. On Aug. 24, 1990, he married Susana SAGER in Fairfield. He was operations manager for J and B Plastics Co. for 22 years.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Cody Wayne and Clayton Thomas, at home; his father of Pittsburgh; a brother, the Rev. Dr. James Paul CARCIA III of Greenfield, Ind.; a sister, Nancy Jean COLELLA of Hurricane, W. Va.; a nephew and two nieces. His mother preceded him in death.
