DEATHS

Chester Allen CALHOUN.

Chester Allen CALHOUN, the five weeks' old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester CALHOUN of Rock Island, Ill., was found dead in bed from suffocation, by the side of his mother, yesterday morning about three o'clock.

The body was brought here and funeral services were held this morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Free Methodist church in charge of Rev. W. H. McDonald, and burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

This was the first child in the CALHOUN home. Mr. and Mrs. CALHOUN are both former residents of this city, Mrs. CALHOUN having been Miss Margaret LATHROP.

Mr. and Mrs. CALHOUN and the mother's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed LATHROP of Davenport, accompanied the body here.
