Mrs. CALHOUN Dies In East

Mrs. J. Nobie CALHOUN, longtime resident of Fairfield, died this morning in Silver Spring, Md. Her death followed a four-day illness.

Mrs. CALHOUN was making her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cal SOLEM, in Silver Spring.

The body will be returned to the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. CALHOUN Rites Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. J. Nobie CALHOUN, 81, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church.

Mrs. CALHOUN died Friday in Rockville, Md., after an illness of four days. She had made her home with a daughter in Rockville for the past year.

Services will be conducted by Gene Crossett. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The body will arrive Sunday at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. CALHOUN was the former Alta M. SAWTELL. She was born Dec. 18, 1887 in Alta Vista, Kan. She was married to J. Nobie CALHOUN June 6, 1916. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1967.

Mrs. CALHOUN was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernard W. MENKE, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. Lewis SOLEM, Rockville, Md. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Blanche FREES, Burlington; and Mrs. Della RICE, Hershey, Pa.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Alta M. CALHOUN, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested in The Estate Of Alta M. CALHOUN, Deceased

You are hereby notified that on the 7th day of August, 1969, the undersigned was appointed administrator of said estate. Notice is hereby given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated for allowance and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claims shall thereafter be forever barred.
