Hazel E. BURROWS

Hazel E. BURROWS, 82, 708 S. Fourth St., died at 4:45 this morning at Nelson Nursing Home.

Services are set tentatively for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience starting at noon Thursday. A memorial has been established.

Mrs. BURROWS was born Jan. 30, 1905 in Van Buren County, the daughter of Frank and Nellie CARTER SMITH. She married Glen BURROWS Feb. 2, 1924 in Fairfield and has lived here since. She is a former member of Free Methodist Church. Her husband, a daughter, four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter; Norma GRIFFIN of Fairfield; a son, Glen "Boney" Jr., of Bloomfield; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Carroll SMITH of Birmingham and a half-sister, Pearl STONE of Vallejo, Calif.
