Mrs. BRYAN, 71, Taken In Death

STOCKPORT, Ia. 8 Mrs. Flora C. BRYAN, 71, Stockport, died Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital after a long illness.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in Fairfield in charge of the Rev. J. Roland Crandall. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. BRYAN was born Feb. 25, 1891 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Peter and Mary DROZ CHAPUIS. She was married to Roy BRYAN Sept. 20, 1915. He died in 1935.

For 15 years Mrs. BRYAN was employed at the Annie Wittenmyer home at Davenport. For the past 18 years she made her home in Stockport with her brother, Ray CHAPUIS, where she cared for three CHAPUIS children. She was a member of the Davenport Methodist church.

Mrs. BRYAN is survived by the following brothers and sister: Ray and Clay CHAPUIS, Stockport; Walter CHAPUIS, Fairfield; and Mrs. Iola JOHNSTON, Edina, Mo. Also surviving are a niece and two nephews, Mrs. Shirley STANDLEY, Fairfield; Richard and Fred CHAPUIS, Stockport. One brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Flora BRYAN Services Friday

Services for Mrs. Flora C. BRYAN, 71, Stockport, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home.

The name of one brother, L. E. CHAPUIS, Keosauqua, was omitted from a list of survivors in Wednesday's paper.

Notice Is Hereby Given, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Administratrix of the estate of Flora BRYAN deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment, and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
