C. B. BRUNER Dies Suddenly

C. B. BRUNER, 66, retired Fairfield businessman, died suddenly at 7:50 a.m. today at his home at 310 E. Monroe.

Arrangements are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.

BRUNER had been a resident of Fairfield since 1949. He was owner of the Bruner Jewelry Store for several years, later serving as a distributor for the Harper Brush Company.

Rites For C. BRUNER

Last rites for Clifton D. BRUNER (sic - Clifton B.), 66, retired Fairfield businessman, will be held Monday at 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. The Rev. Wayne Bartruff will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BRUNER died unexpectedly at his home, 310 E. Monroe, on Thursday morning.

BRUNER was born Oct. 12, 1910 at Urbana, Mo., the son of Samuel and Annie GRAINGER BRUNER. On March 6, 1932, he was married to Ressie RIMBEY at Bolivar, Mo.

He was graduated from the National School of Electrics and Diesels in Los Angeles, Calif., and held a National Watchmakers Diploma from Bradley Horological Institute, Peoria, Ill.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of First United Methodist Church, Keep Young Club, Fairfield Lions Club, and American Legion Post 47.

He is survived by his widow; one son, R. G. BRUNER of Fairfield; one brother and two sisters. G. D. BRUNER, Mina EDWARDS and Leta KAHLER all of Oxford, Iowa.
