Widow of A. W. (Zell) BROWN Summoned Early This MorningMrs. Margaret R. BROWN, a widow of A. W. (Zell) BROWN, died at her home at 4:00 o'clock this morning, following a serious illness of the past two days. Mrs. BROWN, who was a life long resident of Fairfield, had been sick for the past week.
The funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 o'clock at the Hoskins Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery here.
Mrs. BROWN leaves the following children:
Mrs. Wilbur C. SMITH of Fairfield, Mrs. Armour M. WILSON of Chicago, and Ralph and Zell Jr. of Fairfield. She also leaves two grandchildren, Mrs. Eugene HAGBERG of Springfield, Ill., and John Brown WILSON of Chicago, Ill.
Two sisters and one brother are also left to mourn her death. They are Mrs. W. W. DYER of Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. C. W. JORDAN of Ottumwa, and John GOSSICK of Fairfield.
Mrs. BROWN's husband, who preceded her in death several years ago, was a partner in the Crail and Brown meat market on the south side of the square here. Since the death of the two partners the firm has been continued by Mrs. BROWN's sons and is now known as the Brown Market.
