MRS. GEORGE BROWN DIED AT WELLMAN

Mrs. George BROWN passed away at seven o'clock yesterday morning at the hospital in Wellman (note: in Washington Co., IA). Mrs. BROWN had been in ill health for some time and had undergone an operation Saturday noon.

Mrs. BROWN was before her marriage Miss Mabel MOYER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. MOYER of this city. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves three sisters and one brother to mourn her death, Mrs. E. J. BLACKWODO (sic) and Miss Catherine MOYER of this city, Mrs. Amos HULL of Wellman, and Harper MOYER of Center Junction.

Funeral services were held at the home in Wellman at three o'clock this afternoon. The remains ill be brought here tonight and a short service will be held at the cemetery tomorrow afternoon.

MRS. GEORGE BROWN DIED AT WELLMAN.

Mrs. George BROWN, of Wellman, passed away at the hospital at that place Sabbath morning, after undergoing an operation at noon on the preceding day.

Mrs. BROWN was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. MOYER, of this city, who, with the husband, three sisters and one brother are left to mourn her death.

Funeral services were held at Wellman Monday afternoon, after which the remains were brought to this city and after short services at the grave, were interred in the Evergreen cemetery Tuesday afternoon.

Note: Buried in Lot 2nd.171. Husband George remarried, died in 1966, and is buried in Sedalia, MO. He is noted on her monument in Evergreen, but no dates have been engraved for him.
