Vivian A. BLOOMQUIST, 83, formerly of 241 N. Waters St., Birmingham, died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Sunnybrook Assisted Living.

A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Fairfield High School Band Aides and Hospice of Central Iowa.

Mrs. BLOOMQUIST was born March 21, 1922, in Mercer County, Pa., the daughter of William and Lettie LIGHTNER WISEMAN. She married Max L. BLOOMQUIST Dec. 19, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He died June 2, 2002.

She was a homemaker and employed at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witneses (sic).

Survivors include three sons, Butch BLOOMQUIST of Fairfield, Ron BLOOMQUIST of Birmingham and Lonnie BLOOMQUIST of Promise City; two sisters, Ruth Calhoun and Marlene DOMENIG of Des Moines; one brother, Paul WISEMAN of Grove City, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Caren; and one brother, Bob WISEMAN.
