EVA M. BROWN DIED OF TYPHOID
Funeral To Be Held Monday Afternoon At 2:30 from Hoskins Funeral Home

Miss Eva Marie BROWN, the 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent D. BROWN, residing 5 miles southeast of the city, passed away this morning at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been ill for several days with typhoid fever before having to be taken to the hospital for an operation for the removal of the appendix, which was performed Sept. 19. For the past several days her condition has been very critical and the end same (sic - came) this morning about 9 oclock.

Besides the parents she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Charles, Ruth, Pearl, Johnnie and Helen all at home. She was born near Fairfield Jan. 1910.

The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

EVA M. BROWN RITES YESTERDAY
Were Held From the Hoskins Funeral Home; Burial At Evergreen

The late rites for Miss Eva Marie BROWN, 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent D. BROWN, who died Saturday from typhoid fever, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Hoskins funeral home.

Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church conducted the last services in the presence of many relatives and friends. Mrs. Norvell Switzer and Miss Bettye Montgomery sang the songs, being accompanied on the piano by Miss Reva Patten. The pall bearers were: Miss Margaret Keller, Mrs.. Lloyd Droz, Mrs. Leslie Malmstrom, Miss Helen Hall, Lloyd Droz, Leslie Malmstrom, Harley Droz and Vernie Hall.

D. J. Droz, Mrs. Felix Brady, Grace Droz, Cora Droz, John Edwards and Miss Hazel BROWN were here for the funeral.
