Burial Rites For G. BROOKS

Burial rites for Godfrey BROOKS, cousin of Mrs. Bert KANN, 400 W. Broadway, were held at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

BROOKS was found dead at the home of his mother, Mrs. John COMBS in Des Moines on Wednesday morning. He had lived with his mother for several years and formerly lived in Portland, Ore.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines and the body was brought here immediately following.

Approximately 20 relatives from Des Moines who attended the services here were luncheon guests of Mrs. KANN. Mrs. COMBS has visited here many times in the home of Mrs. KANN.
