T. E. BROBSTON Taken In Death

Theodore E. BROBSTON, 57, 1005 W. Hempstead, died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA). He had been in failing health for the past three months.

BROBSTON had been employed by the Rock Island Railroad since 1936. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Rasmussen officiating.

Military rites will be conducted in Evergreen Cemetery by the local American Legion post.

BROBSTON was born Oct. 31, 1914 in Fairfield, the son of Ezra and Hermie TEETERS (sic - TEETER) BROBSTON. He was married to Eathel May RETHERFORD Nov. 30, 1935.

He is survived by his widow and four children: Carol E. BROBSTON, Libertyville; Robert BROBSTON, Sheridan, Ill.; Hugh BROBSTON and Sylvia BROBSTON, Fairfield. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two brothers: Howard of West Burlington and Claude of Fort Dodge.
