INJURIES ARE FATAL TO MRS. BOWERMASTER
Fairfield Woman Succumbs After Accident Last May

Mrs. Maude BOWERMASTER, 53-year-old, widow of Bert BOWERMASTER well known Fairfield contractor, died at the Jefferson county hospital today at 1:40 p.m. Death followed injuries she received in an automobile accident, west of Fairfield on May 7. She had lingered for some time at the hospital in a serious condition.

Mrs. BOWERMASTER was taken to the Jefferson county hospital shortly after the accident. She suffered a broken leg and several other serious complications. Mrs. BOWERMASTER was riding with Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Barnes in their Plymouth sedan. Mrs. S. S. Stewart, Mrs. Barnes' mother was also in the car, and received a broken nose. The other car, which was involved in the accident, was a Benge Coal truck.

Mr. BOWERMASTER preceded his wife in death several years ago (note - in 1929) when he was struck by an automobile. She is survived by the following children:

Mrs. William RODIBAUGH of Fairfield; Herbert of Cedar Rapids; Willard at home; Eldon of Fairfield, Margaret in Cedar Rapids, and Kathryn at home who was riding in the Barnes car at the time of the accident. She also leaves three brothers and three sisters.

No funeral arrangements have as yet been made. The Hoskins Funeral directors will be in charge.

BOWERMASTER RITES FRIDAY
Last Services For Fairfield Woman At Hoskins' Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude BOWERMASTER, who died yesterday at the Jefferson Co. Hospital, following injuries she received in an automobile accident, will be held at the Hoskins Funeral Home on Friday.

The services will be at 2:00 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. D. C. Eddy, of the Free Methodist church of this city. The burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
