Fairfield Man Died Wednesday At Home Of Sister HereOrin R. BOWERMASTER, more than 78 years of age, died Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at the home of his sister Mrs. Milton DOUGLAS in Fairfield. He had been ill for some time. He was the son of Fredrick A. and Kathryn BOWERMASTER.
His wife preceded him in death 18 months ago (note: in May, 1934). He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. DOUGLAS and Mrs. Frank COOPER of Fairfield, and three brothers, Frank of Ottumwa, Homer of Independence, Kans., and John of Fairfield.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Page FIVE, Column 2Five Heirs Named In Last Will Of Orrin BOWERMASTER
Five heirs are named in the will of the late Orrin R. BOWERMASTER, now on file in the Jefferson county district court.
All property of Mr. BOWERMASTER both real and personal, is to be divided into five equal shares and divided between two brothers, two sisters and one niece, who are: Frank BOWERMASTER, Ottumwa; Homer BOWERMASTER, Independence, Kans.; Mrs. Nellie DOUGLAS and Mrs. Dora COOPER, Fairfield, and Katherine KEMP, Kellogg.
The will provides that before the property division is made the sum of $1 is to be set aside to be divided among all other heirs.
J. C. Wise of Fairfield was named executor to serve without bond.

O. R. BOWERMASTER
O. R. BOWERMASTER, son of Frederick A. and Ketheryn BOWERMASTER, was born in Jefferson county June 1, 1857, and departed this life November 27, 1935, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Milton DOUGLAS.
Here he made his home since the death of his wife, may 25, 1934, and was most tenderly cared for in his illness.
He was 78 years, 5 months and 26 days old at the time of his death.
He was united in marriage to Miss Christina SCHLIEF March 22, 1883. She preceded him in death May 25, 1934. To this union two children were born who died in infancy.
He leaves to mourn his passing the following brothers and sisters: Frank of Ottumwa, Ia., Homer of Independence, Kan.; Mrs. Frank COOPER, Mrs. Milton DOUGLAS, and one half brother, John BOWERMASTER, all of Fairfield, Ia.
After their marriage they resided in Jefferson county until 1902 when they moved to Wyoming, living there for thirty years, then returning to Fairfield for the remainder of their lives.
Mr. BOWERMASTER was a loving husband, a good neighbor and a friend to all who knew him.
Besides the immediate relatives he leaves a host of friends who will mourn his passing.

Daughter Asks Court To Rule Orrin BOWERMASTER Died IntestateObjections to the probate of the will of the late Orrin R. BOWERMASTER have been filed in the Jefferson county district court by a daughter, Mrs. Della SPRINKLE of Albia.
In her objections to the probate of the will, Mrs. SPRINKLE states that she is the daughter and sole heir at law of Mr. BOWERMASTER. She charges that at the time his present will was made, Mr. BOWERMASTER was incapable of making a disposition of his property and that he was subjected to undue influence by others. She prays the court to rule that Mr. BOWERMASTER died intestate.
The will as filed leaves the property to four brothers and sisters, Frank BOWERMASTER, Ottumwa Homer BOWERMASTER, Independence, Kan.; Mrs. Nellie DOUGLAS and Mrs. Dora COOPER, Fairfield, and a niece, Katherine KEMP, Kellogg.

Page FIVE, Column 3Select Temporary Administrator For BOWERMASTER Estate
The appointment of Harry McWhirter of Fairfield as temporary administrator of the estate of Orrin R. BOWERMASTER was made late Wednesday in the Jefferson county district court by Judge George W. Dashiell.
A contest of the will as filed for probate is now pending in the district court. Until such a time as this contest has been settled, Mr. McWhirter will remain in charge collecting rents and handling other real estate.
Mrs. Della SPRINKLE of Albia who sets out in her petition that she is the sole heir at law of the deceased, filed the will contest.
