Page 2, Column 3MRS. BOWERMASTER DIED LAST NIGHT
Mrs. Kate BOWERMASTER died last night about 10:30 o'clock at her home on South Depot street after a lingering illness with tuberculosis. Mrs. BOWERMASTER was well known in this city and news of her death will bring many expressions of sorrow to the family from friends.
Mrs. BOWERMASTER leaves two sons and a daughter who is Mrs. Frank COOPER of this city. She also leaves a number of other relatives. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the residence 506 South Depot street and the remains will be laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.

Mary Katherine ROBERTS, daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth ROBERTS, was born in New Antioch, Clinton county, Ohio, April 6, 1835. She was married to Fredrick BOWERMASTER April 11, 1859. To this union eight children were born, two of whom with the husband and father, preceeded (sic) the mother in death.
The children who survive to mourn the loss of a good and faithful mother are Orrin and Lark BOWERMASTER, of Cody, Wyoming; Frank, of Ottumwa; Will and Homer, Mrs. Frank COOPER and Mrs. M. D. DOUGLAS, all of this city.
She also leaves to mourn her death one step son, John BOWERMASTER, two sisters, Mrs. Lou JEFFERY, of Trenton, Iowa, and Mrs. Frank WAITMAN, of Wayland, also one brother, John ROBERTS, of Trenton, and several grand children.
Mrs. BOWERMASTER has made her home in Fairfield for many years and since the death of her aged husband four years ago, has been a constant sufferer, until death came to her release, Monday evening at 10:30 o'clock, and she was taken home to that land where suffering is no more.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the home on Depot street, conducted by Rev. Thomas Osborn and interemtn (sic) will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon and interment made in Evergreen cemetery.
