Illness Claims John BONNETT

LIBERTYVILLE -- John BONNETT, retired Libertyville farmer, died at 9 a.m. today at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA). He entered the hospital Sunday.

The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Arrangements are incomplete.

BONNETT Rites To Be Saturday

LIBERTYVILLE -- Last rites for John W. BONNETT, native of Jefferson County, will be Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

The services tomorrow will be at 1 p.m. with the Rev. A. J. Iseminger and the Rev. D. O. VanDyne officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

BONNETT passed away at 9 a.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa where he was admitted the previous Sunday.

John William BONNETT, 66, was born May 18, 1900 in Fairfield, the son of Edward and Ora May HUDSON BONNETT. He was reared and educated in Jefferson County and Libertyville.

On Sept. 12, 1928, he was married at Fairfield to Velvah Irene TEETER. He was a farmer for many years, retiring last year.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Arnold FIELDS, Libertyville; Mrs. Donald CAVES, Galesburg, Ill.; Mrs. James SANAGHAN, Lockridge; and Mrs. Darwin POTTER, Libertyville.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, also three sisters, Mrs. Ercel FRY, Mindon, Mo.; Mrs. Myrtle CARMICHAEL, Fairfield; and Birdie BONNETT, Libertyville; four brothers, Carl, Birmingham; Edward also of Birmingham; Russell, Libertyville; and Raymond, Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

We wish to thank our friends, neighbors and relatives for the flowers, food and the many other kind and comforting deeds shown us during the loss of our loved one. Also to Pastor A. J. NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of John BONNETT, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of John BONNETT Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 3rd day of March, 1967, the last will and testament of John BONNETT deceased bearing date of the 30th day of January, 1967, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Velvah Irene BONNETT was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of his notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
