Death Comes To Carl C. BONNETT

LIBERTYVILLE -- Carl C. BONNETT, 68, well known Libertyville resident, died Sunday at 10:30 p.m. at the University Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA). He had been ill the past six months.

Funeral services will be at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Yancey and the Rev. Edward C. BONNETT officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Services are in charge of the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Carl C. BONNETT was born Jan. 14, 1904 (sic - 1905), in Jefferson County, the son of Edward and Ora HUDSON BONNETT. He was married to Elizabeth BUERKENS April 4, 1934.

He lived all his life in Jefferson County and was a member of the Cavalry Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Rev. Edward C. BONNETT, missionary to Australia, and Roxie BONNETT, Fairfield; three grandchildren; along with three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Ercel FRY, Mendon, Mo.; Mrs. Ralph CARMICHAEL, Fairfield; Birdie BONNETT, Libertyville; Edward, Birmingham; Russell, Libertyville; and Raymond, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
