DEATHS

David Thompson BOLEY

David Thompson BOLEY, age 79 years, died suddenly this morning at 7 o'clock at his home at Libertyville, after being ill only about ten minutes. He had been in poor health for the past month.

The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church at Libertyville, in charge of Dr. H. C. Whiting. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BOLEY had resided at Libertyville for the past 18 years. He was born March 17, 1851. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. S. K. HOFFMAN of Horton, Kans., Mrs. Gust KELLEY of Fairfield, Guy BOLEY of Bloomfield and Ray BOLEY of Fairfield. He leaves a sister, Miss N. A. BOLEY of Batavia, and 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

OBITUARY

DAVID THOMPSON BOLEY

David Thompson BOLEY, the son of William and Susan BOLEY, was born near Hillsboro, Iowa, March 17, 1851, and died at his home in Libertyville, Iowa, April 8, 1930, aged 79 years and 21 days.

He was married to Vesta Ann STANFORD Nov. 20, 1879. To this union were born four children, Mrs. Bessie HOFFMAN of Horton, Kansas; Guy of Bloomfield; Mrs. Gus KELLY (sic - KELLEY) and Ray of Fairfield, all of whom are left to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father. He is survived also by sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Miss N. A. BOLEY, of Batavia, and many other relatives and friends.

When about thirty years of age he was converted and joined the Methodist church of Parsonville, Iowa. He brought his membership to the Methodist church of Libertyville, and in later life transferring to the Presbyterian church of Libertyville. He lived a faithful, happy, conscientious Christian life, and was ever active in its service, being a Sunday School superintendent or teacher for over forty-five years.
