Ray A. BOLEY Taken In Death

Ray A. BOLEY, 72, 902 W. Grimes street, died Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital where he had been a patient for four weeks.

Last rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral home in charge of the Rev. C. W. Gault of Ottumwa. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

BOLEY retired seven years ago after being employed at the Dexter company for more than 30 years. He was born Feb. 29, 1888 in Jefferson county, the son of David T. and Vesta STANDFORD (sic - STANFORD) BOLEY. He was married to Cecil B. REED who preceded him in death Sept. 23, 1942.

Surviving are three children, Chester BOLEY, Ottumwa; Merle BOLEY, Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. Robert GEORGE, Keokuk. Four grandchildren; one brother, Guy BOLEY, Birmingham; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie HUFFMAN, Kansas City, Mo., also survive. One sister is deceased.
