Burial In Evergreen For Charles S. BOGLE

Funeral services for Charles S. BOGLE of Des Moines, former local resident, will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Dunn's funeral home in Des Moines.

Additional services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian church in Van Buren county at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield.

BOGLE died at his home in Des Moines yesterday afternoon (note: in Polk Co., IA).

BOGLE Funeral Will Be Sunday Afternoon

Last rites for Charles Samuel BOGLE, former resident of Fairfield, will be held Sunday afternoon at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian church south of Birmingham in Van Buren county. Rev. H. C. Irvine of Birmingham will officiate.

The services will be held at 2:30 p.m. and burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield.

Charles Samuel BOGLE was born January 24, 1872, at Birmingham. He was united in marriage on March 4, 1894, to Bessie Lee BARKER who lived at Mt. Zion.

They lived on a farm near Mt. Zion for several years before moving to Fairfield. While living here BOGLE was employed by the State Department of Agriculture in charge of pure foods and weights and measures. The couple later moved to Des Moines where BOGLE passed away.

Besides his wife he is survived bw (sic) a brother, Reed BOGLE, and a sister, Mrs. Ann CUNNINGHAM, both of Birmingham. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Last rites were held at the Dunn funeral home in Des Moines at 1:30 today. The body will be brought to Mt. Zion where last rites will be held tomorrow.
