Christian "Chris" N. BLOUGH, 92, lifetime resident of Jefferson county, died Sunday at 10:45 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing home. He had been in failing health for two years.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Ned C. Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
BLOUGH was born Feb. 22, 1872 southeast of Fairfield, the son of Henry D. and Anna BAUGHMAN BLOUGH. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county. He was married to Cathryn PARKER Aug. 20, 1904.
For 82 years BLOUGH lived on the home farm three miles southeast of Fairfield on the Glasgow road. He retired from farming and moved to Fairfield 11 years ago.
Surviving are his wife and two sons, Leland BLOUGH and Ronald BLOUGH, both of Fairfield. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
