DEATH CLAIMS C. D. BLOUGH, 83

Charles David BLOUGH, well-known Jefferson county farmer, died at 1:45 a.m. today at an Ottumwa nursing home (note: in Wapello Co., IA). He was 83.

Last rights (sic - rites) will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home. The Rev. S. P. Williamson will be in charge, with burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BLOUGH had been in failing health since January 1. He was taken to Jefferson county hospital Jan. 12 and later removed to the Chatfield Nursing home in Ottumwa.

He was born August 14, 1866 near Fairfield, the son of Henry BLOUGH. he was married to Nellie CRANE April 19, 1899 near Fairfield. He made his home at Libertyville for the past eight years.

Mr. BLOUGH is survived by his widow and one son, Everett BLOUGH, near Fairfield. Two brothers, Chris and Mel BLOUGH, near Fairfield, and two grandchildren also survive.

Mr. BLOUGH was engaged in farming during his entire life and was well-known as a breeder of Percheron horses.
