E. Alberta BLOUGH

The services for E. Alberta BLOUGH, 77, 206 W. Madison Ave., who died Tuesday evening, Feb. 26, 1991, at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, Penn., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to Fairfield Public Library and First Christian Church.

Mrs. BLOUGH was born Nov. 9, 1913, in Fairfield, the daughter of Albert G. and Ethel ARMSTRONG SAUER. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1932 and from St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1935. She married Leland BLOUGH on Jan. 12, 1941, in Ottumwa. She had worked most of her life in Jefferson County except for one year at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. She worked as a surgical and obstetrics nurse at Jefferson County Hospital, for three years in Dr. K. G. Cook's office, and from 1966 to 1986 was administrator at Parkview Care Center. She was a member of First Christian Church, Iowa Nurses Association and Iowa Administrator Association.

Surviving are her husband; a son, James P. of Miami, Fla.; a daughter, Sue Ann YOUNG of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; two grandsons and a sister, Irene SIX of Fairfield. Her parents preceded her in death.
