Anna BAUGHMAN was born in Wayne Co., Ohio, Sept. 15, 1830, and died at her home in Cedar township Saturday morning, March 18.
Deceased grew to womanhood in Ohio and was married there to Henry D. BLOUGH in 1852. For a short time they made their home in Elkhart county, Indiana. In 1855 they came to Davis county, Ia., and remained there until 1865, when they came to Jefferson county and purchased the farm in Cedar township where the worthy couple made their home until their death, Mr. BLOUGH having died hardly a year ago.
Mr. and Mrs. BLOUGH were the parents of nine children, all of whom remain to mourn the loss of the father and mother whose memory will ever live, tenderly cherished.
The children are : Simon H., of Des Moines township, Mary A., wife of Polk Du BOIS, Fairfield township, Elizabeth, Anna, John, Eli, David, Melvin and Christian.
Early in her youth Mrs. BLOUGH became a member of the Menonite church, remaining a devotee of that faith up to her death. She was a good woman, a kindly neighbor and a faithful friend and the family of noble sons and daughters so well reared show that she was above all, a good mother.
Funeral services were conducted from the family home Monday afternoon by Rev. Miller, of Bloomfield, Ia., assisted by Rev. Thos. Osborn, of the M. E. church. The remains were laid to rest beside the husband in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Anna BLOUGH died at her home in Cedar township Saturday, aged 74 years, 6 months and 3 days. She had been a resident of Jefferson county for over forty years, and during that time had made many near friends who will mourn the passing away of this good woman. Anna BAUGHMAN was born in Wayne county, Ohio, September 15th, 1830, where she was married on January 11th, 1852, to Henry D. BLOUGH, who preceded her in death only about a year. To this union nine children were born--Simon H., Mary A., Elizabeth, Anna, John, Eli, David, Melvin and Christian. After the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. BLOUGH moved to Elkhart county, Indiana, in 1855 to Davis county, this state, and in February, 1865, came to Jefferson county, settling soon after on the farm which has since been the home. Mrs. BLOUGH was a member of the church, a good, kind neighbor and friend. Funeral services were held from the home Monday, conducted by Rev. Miller of Bloomfield, pastor of the Menonite church, to which denomination Mrs. BLOUGH had belonged, assisted by Rev. Thos. Osborn.
