MRS. JULIA BLEAMORE BURIED HER

The remains of Mrs. Julia BLEAKMORE, a pioneer resident of Fairfield and Jefferson county, were brought here yesterday afternoon from Burlington for interment, in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. BLEAKMORE was 88 years of age and passed away last Thursday at the hospital in Burlington. She had made her home in Burlington with her granddaughter Mrs. Harry E. SHRYOCK for the past seven years, previous to which time she resided here.

According to the expressed wish of Mrs. BLEAKMORE, the funeral services were very simple and were private. They were held yesterday morning at ten o'clock at the Prugh chapel and the sons assisted in carrying their mother to her last resting place. The remains arrived in this city on Burlington No. 9 and were taken directly to Evergreen cemetery. The large number of beautiful floral tributes which accompanied the body told of the esteem in which Mrs. BLEAKMORE was was (sic) held by Burlington people.

In the funeral party were the sons, J. B. BLEAKMORE of San Francisco, Cal.; and F. F. BLEAKMORE of Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. H. E SHRYOCK and Mrs. Nellie WILLIAMS and Rev. Roy Barrett all of Burlington. They returned to Burlington last night.
