Mrs. John BLAIR Rites Saturday

Mrs. John M. BLAIR, 83, 102 S. Fourth St., died Wednesday at 2:05 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital. She had been in failing health since last July.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., at the First Methodist church in charge of the Rev. J. Roland Crandall. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be taken to the church from the Weston Behner Funeral home at 10 a.m.

Mrs. BLAIR was the former Edith Viola ARGO. She was born Jan. 2, 1879 at Tipton, the daughter of John and Ida WALTERS ARGO. She was married to John M. BLAIR Feb. 13, 1902. He preceded his wife in death Nov. 7, 1959.

Mrs. BLAIR had been a resident of Jefferson county for 50 years. She had lived in Fairfield for the past 33 years. she was a member of the First Methodist church, Rebekah Lodge No. 96, the Golden Wedding club and the Fairfield Women's club.

She is survived by one son, George R. BLAIR, Minneapolis, Minn.; four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Otis H. ARGO, Tipton; and Verne E. ARGO, Cedar Rapids. One son, one brother and four sisters are deceased.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL IN DISTRICT COURT

Jefferson County ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Edith V. BLAIR, deceased, dated April 20, 1960 having been this day filed, opened and read, Tuesday the 11th day of December, 1962, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
