BLACK HAWK NEWS.

Editors Ledger:--We are called upon to announce the death of Miss Mary BLACK, of this township, from consumption, on the 18th of January, in the 27th year of her age. Though not sudden, it was all the more sad for being expected. Death came with all its fearful results, painful to all save its victim, who waited its approach with remarkable resignation. She had lived a sinless life, and feared not its end. Her last words being, "mother, weep not for me, I am going to my Saviour." The remains were buried in your city, Thursday, Jan. 20, and were followed there by the largest procession of the kind, perhaps, that has ever been seen in Black Hawk. ...
