J. Kinzie BLACK, 73, retired Rock Island Railroad employee, died Thursday about 3 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital (note: in Wapello Co., IA) where he had been seriously ill the last 11 days. The family home is at 603 S. Fourth.
BLACK was born August 13, 1901 at Nodaway, the son of Harvey and Elizabeth GUNNERMAN BLACK. He married Myrle HAMMANS August 19, 1929 at Creston. A member of Harmony Baptist Church, he was employed by Rock Island Railroad as a railroad clerk for over 46 years.
BLACK is survived by his wife; two brothers, Ralph E. of Ottumwa and Jay of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. C. P. HULL of Eldon, Mrs. Ray RENO of Agency and Mrs. Goldie STRUNK of Lincoln, Ill. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at Weston Behner Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jerry D. Yancey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1975, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF J. K. BLACK, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 29TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1959, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT MYRLE BLACK WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
