... Word has been received by Miss Mary STEVER of the death of her cousin Mr. John BLACK in Saratoga, California. Mr. BLACK is survived by his wife who was formerly Margaret WHITAKER. Both Mr. and Mrs. BLACK were former residents of Jefferson county. Mr. BLACK has been an invalid for the past 35 years, the result of an accident when thrown from a horse at his home in Montana. Mr. BLACK is also a cousin of Mr. Charles GAGE. Final arrangements for the burial has nat yet (sic) been received following cremation in California.
