Raymond C. BERG, 74, died about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital. he had been in failing health for two and a half years and seriously ill the past six months.
Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge. Rev. Hoyt L. Whitebread will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
BERG was born Dec. 18, 1893 in Jefferson County, the son of Charles and Mary KRUMBOLTZ BERG. He spent all of his lifetime in this area. The farm home is on Route 1 Brighton, 12 miles northeast of Fairfield.
On Dec. 4, 1920 he was married to Pearl E. PETERSON. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Maizie HOLLANDER, Route 2 Fairfield; and one son, Floyd R. BERG, Brighton, Route 1, and three grandchildren.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Raymond C. BERG, Deceased.To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Raymond C. BERG, Deceased:
You are hereby notified that on the 6th day of June, 1968, the undersigned was appointed administrator of said estate. Notice is hereby given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall filed them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claims shall thereafter be forever barred.
