OBITUARY.

… BARTHOLOMEW.--At the residence of her father, Thomas B. BARTHOLOMEW, near Fairfield, Iowa, Jan. 6, 1875, of Brain Fever. Miss Mary BARTHOLOMEW, aged 21 years and 5 months.

The deceased was reared in the vicinity of Fairfield, and was therefore known to many.-- She was not of rugged constitution, and was frequently in poor health. Her last sickness lasted some three weeks, during much of which time she was unconscious. She united with the Presbyterian Church of Fairfield about five years before her death on profession of her faith in Christ, and remained a member until taken to the church triumphant.
