BERT BARR DEAD

Word has been received here of the death of Bert BARR, which occurred this morning at Burlington (note: in Des Moines Co., IA). His death was due to apoplexy.

Mr. BARR was a former resident of Fairfield and his step-mother resides here. The remains will be brought to Fairfield at noon Friday and interrment will be made at Evergreen cemetery, no services being held here. A brother James also resides in Burlington.
