Mrs. Laura BARKER Died At Home Of Daughter In Ottumwa

Laura Bell BARKER, 74, passed away at 1:15 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. D. JENNINGS, 113 South Elm street, Ottumwa. She lived in Fairfield until 20 years ago, then moving to Ottumwa with her husband, William BARKER. She had made her home with her daughter after her husband's death in 1920.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hoskins funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Surviving relatives include four daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. C. E. HENNINGS (sic - JENNINGS), Mrs. F. S. BENNETT, Mrs. Thurman BAKER, Mrs. Forrest WEBER, all of Ottumwa. Surviving sons are Harry BARKER, Ottumwa and Elbert BARKER, Fairfield. One son, George BARKER, passed away in Fairfield in 1936.
