M. Florence BARKER, 76, 1009 W. Stone Ave., died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 1992, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
Mrs. BARKER was born Oct. 18, 1916, north of Packwood, the daughter of Minor and Lillus Elmina DAVIS ADAMS. She graduated from Packwood High School and on Sept. 28, 1935, married Edward M. BARKER at the Methodist parsonage in Ottumwa. He died June 7, 1984. A resident of the Fairfield community for 57 years, she was a homemaker and an Avon sales representative before her retirement. She was a member of First Christian Church, VFW Auxiliary, and the Eagles Auxiliary, having served as its first president.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth BOWERS of Mount Lebanon, Pa.; two stepchildren, Darrell BARKER of Dubuque, Carol AMRINE of Brighton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna MAIRET of Fairfield; and a brother, Willard ADAMS of Alamonte Springs, Fla. Her parents, six brothers, Clay, Floyd, Byron, Raleigh, Joseph, James, and two sisters, Elva and Hazel, preceded her in death.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1992, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF M. FLORENCE BARKER, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 3RD DAY OF JULY, 1984, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT CAROL AMRINE WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE. ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE THE WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF HIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE TO ALL HEIRS OF THE DECEDENT AND DEVISEES UNDER THE WILL WHOSE IDENTITIES ARE REASONABLE ASCERTAINABLE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
