Her childhood home was in Davis County and she lived there till coming to Fairfield to establisher her own home in 1926. On November 30, 1926 she was married to Edward BARKER and has lived happily in this union since. Two children were born to them, both of whom survive their mother. The surviving loved ones are: her husband Edward BARKER, her son Darrell Dean and her daughter Carrell Jean. Her mother, Mrs. D. S. Mrs. BARKER was sick less than a week. As her condition grew worse she was removed to the Jefferson County hospital. Everything possible was done for her but without avail. She passed away, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday evening at 7 o'clock.

She confessed her faith in Christ as her saviour in the Mel Trotter meeting in Fairfield and her faith was a comfort to the end. Her friendly disposition and kindly ways endeared her to all and she will be missed by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.

Funeral services were held at the Hoskins funeral home at Fairfield last Sunday afternoon conducted by S. P. Williamson, minister of the First Christian church. The hymns were sung by Mrs. S. P. and Miss Amy Williamson. The remains were interred in Evergreen cemetery.
