Services For Fairfield Resident To Be Tuesday At 2:30 p.m.George A. BARKER, aged 56 passed away at his home, 400 North Main street, at 1:10 o'clock Sunday afternoon, after an illness which had extended over a period of thirteen years.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. W. F. Rex. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. BARKER was born August 28, 1881, in Cantril. He had been a resident of Fairfield for the past thirty-two years. For several years he was a moulder at the Dexter and Malleable factories.
Surviving him are his wife, two children, Mrs. Margaret HARPER of Fairfield, and George BARKER, at home, and three grandchildren. Surviving also are his mother, Mrs. Laura BARKER of Ottumwa, four sisters, Mrs. Charles JENNINGS, Mrs. Therman BAKER, Mrs. Fred BENNETT and Mrs. Forrest WEBBER, all of Ottumwa, and two brothers, Harry BARKER of Ottumwa and Elbert BARKER of Fairfield.
