MRS. JAMES BARGER DIES.
Passes Away At Home Three Milss (sic) West of Town Last Night

Mrs. James C. BARGER died at her home three miles west of this city, last evening about eight o'clock, after a short illness of pneumonia. Deceased was about forty six years of age and was well and favorably known in the community in which she lived. The family were former residents of this city where they have many friends who will hasten to extend sincere sympathies to the grief stricken family. A husband and six children are left to mourn the departure of this loving wife and mother.

Funeral services will be held from the Christian church in this city tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. C. Littleton.

Obituary.

Emma M. TROWBRIDGE,
was born in Jefferson county, Iowa February 26, 1860. She grew to young womanhood in this community. On December 25, 1879, she was united in marriage to James C. BARGER, of this city. Seven children were born to this union, the oldest of whom has preceded the mother to the other land. The family resided in this city until a couple of years ago, when they moved to the farm three and one-half miles west of this city.

The deceased was taken ill a few days ago and her ailment rapidly developed into pneumonia and at once assumed a serious form. Death came quite suddenly last Wednesday evening at 7:45 o'clock to release the soul from the afflicted body. Six children with the husband are left to mourn the untimely death of the deceased.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church, Friday morning at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. H. C. Littleton and the mortal remains were tenderly laid to rest in Evergreen cemetry (sic). The sympathy of the entire community is with the bereaved ones in this great sorrow.

After a Brief Illness.

Mrs. James C. BARGER died at her home three miles west of this city Wednesday, after an illness of a week from pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the Christian church, this city, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. H. C. Littleton. Mrs. BARGER was formerly Emily M., a daughter of Robert T. TROWBRIDGE, was born in this county and was in the forty-sixth year of her age. She was married December 25th, 1879, and was the mother of six children, the youngest now six years old. One daughter is the wife of Ernest BATES, and the others are all at home. Mrs. BARGER had spent her entire life in this county, and she had many friends who will mourn her death and sympathize with the stricken family.

Death of Mrs. J. J. BARGER (sic - J. C. BARGER)

Last Wednesday at her home near this city, occurred the death of Mrs. J. J. BARGER, after a short illness from pneumonia.

Emma M. TROWBRIDGE was born in Jefferson county, Iowa, Feb. 26, 1860, and was married to J. J. BARGER Dec. 25, 1879. She leaves to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother, a husband and six children.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. C. Littleton, last Friday morning at 11 o'clock and interment made in Evergreen cemetery.
