Ethel Malura BALL, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. BALL, of Cedar township, this county, died on Wednesday, January 20, 1897, aged 15 years, 9 months and two days, after a very painful illness lasting three weeks.
She was an earnest member of the Ebenezer Christian church, which she joined at the age of eleven, and for which she had also been organist for some time past. From her bright christian life it was manifest to all with whom she came in contact that she was a true soldier of Christ's and when the angel of death called she fell peacefully asleep. The funeral took place Thursday, January 21, at 2 o'clock, at the Ebenezer Christian church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. Ernest Stockley, and the interment at the Mt. Zion (sic - Evergreen) cemetery. X.

Editors Ledger :--Ethel Malura BALL, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P.
