E. Noble BALL, 84, former bank employee and city treasurer, died Sunday afternoon at the Jefferson County Hospital following an illness of several months.
Last rites will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
E. Noble BALL was born Feb. 25, 1887, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Frank and Anna CALHOUN BALL. She was employed at the Iowa State Bank and Trust Company for 32 years before her retirement, and served 25 years as treasurer for the City of Fairfield.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, DAR and Eastern Star.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Carl JAY, Fairfield, and two nieces. The family home is at 306 E. Washington.
