BAILEY INFANT DIED THURSDAY

The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest BAILEY died last night about the midnight hour at their home on West Burlington street. The little one was born just six days ago and had been seriously ill for the past two days.

There will be a short service at the home tomorrow morning at ten o'clock and interrment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.

BAILEY--Helen Leona BAILEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest BAILEY, died last night at the home of its parents, 608 West Burlington street, aged 6 days.

The little one came to the BAILEY home less than a week ago and died last night after a few days of illness.

Little Helen Leona is survived by the sorrowing parents, and one little brother age four years. She was given to brighten the home for but a few short days. Budded on earth, but to blossom in heaven.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow from the home at 10:00 o'clock a.m., conducted by Rev. W. A. Wolgemuth and the remains laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.

The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.

Some speculation exists as to whether she actually died on the 20th or 21st; both the WPA Graves Survey and her gravestone list her death date as February 21st. Her Death Certificate lists her death as 1:00 a.m. on the 20th.
