Stricken in Young Manhood.

Edward Phillip, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. AXELSON, died at the home of his parents, just northeast of the city, Wednesday. He had been ill with typhoid fever for about three weeks. Two other children are sick with the same disease. Edward was born at Princeton, Ill., December 1st, 1887, and accompanied his parents when they removed to this county in March, 1904. He was a young man of excellent habits--honest, industrious and thrifty, and gave promise of a useful manhood. He had made many friends in this community and they will sincerely mourn his death. The body was interred Thursday, Rev. Smith, pastor of the Baptist church, conducting services.

Mr. and Mrs. AXELSON and members of the family wish to extend their deepest thanks to the friends who have rendered them so many kindly services in their sorrow.
