The nine year old (sic - 8-year-old, born Mar 19, 1899) son of Mr. and Mrs. John AXELSON passed away this morning about 8:30 o'clock at the home of his parents on the Stubbs farm just north of this city after an illness of several weeks of typhoid fever.
This is the second child of this family to succumb to this dreaded disease, the other, also a son dying only a short time ago. There are two other children, a boy and a girl now lying seriously ill with the same disease.
The funeral services for this child will be conducted tomorrow morning at ten o'clock from the home. The interrment will be made in Evergreen cemetery. The heartfelt sympathies of the entire community go out to Mr. and Mrs. AXELSON at this time.
