Page 3, Column 1--Anna AXELSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John AXELSON, who live just north of this city on the Stubbs farm, is critically ill with typhoid fever. Mr. and Mrs. AXELSON have already lost two children in the past few weeks with the same disease and the sympathies of the entire community are with them during this time of trouble.

After an illness of four weeks with typhoid fever, Annie AXELSON died last night at eleven o'clock at the home of her parents northeast of the city. She is the third member of the family to succumb to the same disease within six weeks. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W. G. Smith of the Baptist church.
Annie AXELSON was born in Princeton, Ill., October 26, 1896. Four years ago she came with her parents to this city and has since lived with them on the Stubbs farm a few miles northeast of Fairfield. She was a pupil in the public schools.
