MRS. H. S. ANGSTEAD
Sarah O. ANGSTEAD, daughter of Elizabeth and John LYNN, was born in the Richwoods vicinity, May 7, 1847, and departed this life Oct. 31, 1932, at her home, 53 North Cromwell, Fairfield.
At the age of 21 years she was united in marriage to Hiram S. ANGSTEAD. The home was established in Jefferson county where her entire life was spent. The last 47 years the home has been in Fairfield.
During her last illness, of a year's duration, she was privileged to have all ten of her living children with her at various times, and all were present at the last rites, held from the home, 53 N. Cromwell avenue, and conducted by Dr. Rex of the English Lutheran church, of which she was a member.
The surviving children are: Robert H., Wm. H., J. Clyde, J. Ed, Ray D., Floyd C., Harold S., Daisy PIERSON, Harriet GREEN and Myrtle VAN DYKE. Claude and Cecil preceded their mother in death.
Tenderly carried to her last resting place by her seven sons, amid a profusion of flowers, she was laid to rest on the family lot in the Evergreen cemetery.
