Raymond ANDERSON dies

Raymond A. ANDERSON, 86, 61½ E. Broadway, died at his home sometime Thursday morning.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Senior Citizen Center and the Keep Young Club.

ANDERSON was born Aug. 6, 1899 northeast of Fairfield, the son of John A. and Anna S. BENGTSON ANDERSON. He lived most of his life in Fairfield and was employed at Louden Division, ACCO-Babcock Inc. for more than 40 years, retiring in 1967. On June 18, 1921, he married Glee McCLEARY in Fairfield. She died July 13, 1967.

Surviving are two daughters, Colleen VAN DRIMMELEN of Newton, Dorothy DRAPER of Osage, Wyo.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one sister, Evelyn HAINES of McHenry, Ill. A son also preceded him in death.

ANDERSON was a member of Keep Young Club, Fairfield Lodge 1293 of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, and was in the National Guard during World War I.
