LLOYD ANDERS DIES SUDDENLY

Lloyd A. ANDERS, trucker in Fairfield for several years, died suddenly last night while on the way to a doctor's office. He was 53 years of age (sic - 51).

Mr. ANDERS became suddenly ill at his home, 207 E. Monroe street, about 8:30 p.m. His wife called Dr. C. R. Reynolds at his home and asked the doctor to meet them at his office.

When Dr. Reynolds arrived at the First National bank building where the office is located, he found Mr. ANDERS had collapsed on the landing of the stairway, suffering from a heart attack. He passed away shortly after the doctor's arrival.

The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home where last rites are pending.

Lloyd A. ANDERS was born December 21, 1896, in Iowa, the son of Charles and Lydia MACKEY (sic - McKEY) ANDERS. He was united in marriage February 17, 1915, to June CROWNER, who survives.

Mr. ANDERS had made his home in Fairfield for the past 26 years and was engaged in the trucking business.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four children: Rex, Burlington; Don, Fairfield; Wava COCKRUM, Kennewick, Washington; and Jack, who resides in Oregon. He is also survived by his father, Charles ANDERS, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel CROWNER, Lockridge.

Lloyd ANDERS Rites Monday Afternoon

Last rites for Lloyd ANDERS, local trucker who died suddenly Wednesday night while on his way to a doctor's office will be Monday afternoon.

The services will be at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williams in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

… Mrs. Charlie HARL of Ottumwa was an overnight guest of her mother, Mrs. Clyde HALL and Mr. HALL, and attended the funeral of their cousin, Lloyd ANDERS. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nelson, Mrs. William Heston and Mrs. Vern HALL also attended the services.
